These hats are exquisitely crafted and sealed by hand with natural, virgin rubber via the experienced artistry of the maker's index finger. Traditional tools guarantee a secure fit, ensuring superior quality is achieved in every crafted creation. Most importantly the artisans behind this product are remunerated with wages above a living wage, amounting to £20/hour.
How we put people and planet first in the making of our Rosa Bucket Hat
We ceaselessly strive to ensure maximum sustainability for every item created, from design to production to disposal. The Rosa Bucket Hat is made from natural fibres, within a 30 mile radius of our store. The artisans who make them are paid above a living wage and our packaging is comprised of recycled materials. The circular and near sourcing model has reduced CO2 emissions by an average of 82%.
Ethically produced in Scotland, we are happy to replicate our circular manufacturing model in Scotland and support the local businesses and economy. Artisans hand-crafting the Rosa Bucket Hat are paid properly at £20 an hour, well above the standard rate.
