The Journey of our Luxury Cotton Socks
Design
Antoinette studied knitwear at Glasgow School of Art, so her first love was knitwear. She was delighted to introduce these fabulous socks to the collection. They are based on a 'mini' kilt sock as an homage to the sourcing of waste Scottish yarns and manufacturing here in Scotland.
Sustainable Circular Sourcing
Antoinette spent a year trying to source made-in-Scotland knitwear. She came across Steve on one of her many internet searches. They spoke at length about how they could support each other. Together, they set out to find waste yarns to make Beira’s first socks. From the end of the spools, they selected yarns and colours to make these exceptional socks.
Ethical Manufacturing
We are delighted to onshore the production of these socks and invest in ‘Made in Scotland’. It is essential to us that we only work with factories, like Caledonia Hosiery, that share our ethos and produce only the highest quality luxury garments while paying people properly. We embrace radical transparency to address fair labour within the industry and ensure all garment workers are paid a living wage.
How we put people and planet first in the making of our Luxury Cotton Socks

-
Ethical

Our commitment to ethical production means you can enjoy a quality product that was created in a sustainable and responsible way.
