Design

Our sweatshirts collection is designed to complement our wool and padded coats. The super soft and fluffy sweatshirt fabrics are super versatile, wash wonderfully and are super cosy. Gae is named after the inspirational woman and Italian architect - Gae Aulenti. She believed in her design that ‘people made the room’. We believe that our customer makes our Gae design become alive. And that our goddesses want lasting values.

Sustainable Circular Sourcing

Beira sourced discarded fabric from La Rocca, which had been used in the production of high-end luxury garments, to create the Gae sweatshirt. Our 'No New Materials' commitment and embracing a circular economy has enabled us to limit the volume of substandard, mass-produced fabric discarded to landfill, and produce more robust and resilient items instead.

Ethical Manufacturing

We are unwavering in our belief that sustainability requires treating people equitably throughout the supply chain. Gae is made in Flavio, our co-founders factory, in Italy. We pay the Italian artisans are paid €28 each hour. We are firmly committed to openness within our supply chain, labor and animal welfare, as they are crucial to the brand.
