The Journey of our Beret

As a knitwear graduate from Glasgow School of Art, Antoinette is passionate about exquisite knitwear. For our Beret, we started by collaborating with the factory to identify suitable, discarded, luxurious waste yarns of the highest quality. We don't sacrifice quality or elegance, and every item is crafted to flatter. The beret contributes to facial framing while decreasing the risk of flattening your hair. The rib design was inspired by a 1990's beret Antoinette owned. Thanks to collaboration with the factory, we made the perfect beret.

Sustainable Circular Sourcing

We are committed to prioritising people and the planet in all aspects of our operations, from our suppliers to the day-to-day management of our store and workplace. We specialise in producing our garments from waste, utilising a process called design-led remanufacturing and reverse resources. This stops fabrics from ending up in landfills, allowing us to get the maximum value out of them.

Ethical Manufacturing

Antoinette was honoured to implement the circular sourcing model developed in Italy with knitwear manufacturer Sun Hing. Finding manufacturers willing to create more sustainable operations is no easy feat. We're firm believers that true sustainability requires fair wages. We provide thorough knowledge about our supply chain and wages and are proud to collaborate with Sun Hing, which pays garment workers a living wage.

  • Sustainable

We are now replicating our Italian circular economy model in Hong Kong/China for our knitwear. This has led to reductions in the manufacturers’ waste, making the most of their downtime, providing jobs, and offering more than a living wage to those employed. To limit carbon emissions, the product is then delivered to our store via boat. This circular sourcing model has provided a 74% reduction in CO2.

  • Ethical

Our ethical supply chain model uses manufacturers' downtimes and creates employment opportunities in the region while ensuring workers receive more than a living wage. Our manufacturers are dedicated to transparency, and their artisans have decades of knowledge and boast advanced workplaces and facilities.

  • Quality

Our knitwear is crafted from only the best yarns. Created by skilled artisans who have worked for many prominent luxury brands. Each piece is carefully put together with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Forever

We create new luxurious pieces with a strong focus on timeless, high-quality designs. Our garments are designed to endure, offering a lifetime of wear. Available in limited editions in Cream, Blue, Red Slate, and Heather Grey.

  • Conscious

Our artisans are paid more than a living wage, guaranteeing an ethical supply chain. We focus on cutting down on waste in the garment production process and using more sustainable shipping methods.

  • Transparent

Our customers can be confident in our comprehensive and transparent processes. We reveal what wages our staff are paid, where our products are made, and what we charge for them. We believe transparency to be a necessary component of sustainable and ethical operations. The traditional retail markup price £125 versus our honest price of £55.
