The Journey of our Knitted Hat

Design

For these limited-edition knitted hats, we sourced luxury wool from our Italian factory’s surplus yarns. We let the waste dictate the design—this limited edition jewel and cream colour brightens any outfit. These hats are designed to be worn folded in the cold or as an oversized beanie when the temperature is cool.

Sustainable Circular Sourcing

Beira sourced discarded fabric from La Rocca, which had been used in the production of high-end luxury garments, to create the knitted hat. Our 'No New Materials' commitment and embracing a circular economy have enabled us to limit the volume of substandard, mass-produced fabric discarded in landfills and produce more robust and resilient items instead.

Ethical Manufacturing

We are adamant that sustainability necessitates treating people properly in all stages of the supply chain. We prioritise transparency to guarantee fair labour. Additionally, we pay the Italian artisans €28 per hour. We firmly uphold transparency in our supply chain, labour, and animal welfare, as these are paramount to the brand.
