The Journey of our Bobble Hat

Design

As a graduate of Glasgow School of Art's renowned knitwear program, Antoinette adores beautiful knitwear. To create our bobble hat, we worked with the factory to identify discarded yarns of the highest quality. This bobble hat adds a touch of effortless glamour to any look. Thanks to our collaboration with the factory, we have achieved the stunning bobble hat.

Sustainable Circular Sourcing

Fully committed to prioritising people and the planet, we specialise in producing our garments from waste through design-led remanufacturing and reverse resources. This helps fabrics avoid landfills and allows us to extract the maximum value from them. For instance, our Bobble Hats were crafted from discarded wool and cashmere yarns, thus preventing products from ending up in landfills. As a result, it enables us to optimise the utilisation of resources that could have potentially ended up in landfills.

Ethical Manufacturing

Antoinette was proud to introduce our Italian circular sourcing model to our knitwear manufacturer, Sun Hing. Achieving more sustainable operations is a challenge, and we recognise that a fair wage is key to true sustainability. We take pride in providing full details about our supply chain and wages and are pleased to collaborate with Sun Hing, who ensure their garment workers receive above-living-wage salaries.

How we put people and planet first in the making of our Bobble Hat

  • Sustainable

    Our Italian circular economy model is being implemented in Hong Kong/China for our knitwear. We are using more of the waste produced in this part of the world, utilising manufacturers’ downtime, and ensuring the artisans are paid above a living wage. To reduce carbon emissions, delivery of the product is via boat. Our circular sourcing model has provided an 83% reduction in CO2.

    We use the downtimes of manufacturers to create job opportunities in the region and ensure our workers are paid more than a living wage. Our manufacturers prioritise transparency and have artisans with decades of knowledge and advanced facilities.

    Our knitwear is meticulously crafted from the finest yarns and expertly crafted by experienced artisans renowned for their work among luxury brands. Every element is made with exacting attention to detail.

    Crafted with an emphasis on ageless, quintessential quality, our garments are designed to last, delivering years of wear. Available in limited editions: Blue, Red Slate and Heather Grey.

    Our artisans are paid more than a living wage, ensuring our supply chain is ethically sound. We strive to reduce the amount of waste generated by garment production in addition to using slow shipping methods to reduce our carbon footprint.

    We proudly share all of our operations with our customers. We openly discuss compensation for workers, the country of origin of our products, and our product pricing.
